Craft expert will visit coffee house Saturday

Julie Stephani, a crafting magazine editor, will visit Coffee by the Bay in Bay City from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Julie Stephani, a crafting magazine editor, will visit Coffee by the Bay in Bay City from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Laurie Andrews, proprietor, said Stephani will have books on hand which relate to preserving memories through scrapbooking and journaling.

Stephani, who is sister-in-law to former Hay Creek Tree Farm operators Ben and Karen Stephani, will demonstrate scrapbooking techniques from her “More Than Memories” TV show on PBS and her five books on scrapbooking.

A regular guest on TV shows on ABC, Lifetime, HGTV and other networks, she has written more than 20 arts and crafts book and hundreds of magazine articles.

Stephani has worked with several magazines, and currently is editor of Today’s Creative Home Arts, executive director of Creative Home Arts Club, and a board of directors member of the Craft and Hobby Association.
