Letter: Elect Sachen

To the Editor:

I met John Sachen 20 years ago when his mom, Sandy, met and married my neighbor, Bill Hasselblad.

I’ve always liked John and, last winter watching him in the public arena for the first time, I’ve added respect and admiration for him. He presented our neighborhood case succinctly, noting it was a community concern as well.

John did his homework, then presented the facts clearly, always respectful of others’ opinions.

Since John has filed for City Council, we have discussed issues currently before the council. Because of these conversations I am confident his intelligence and integrity will be apparent in his hard work for all.

If you live in Wards 1 and 2, please join me in supporting and voting for John Sachen Tuesday Nov. 2.
