Highways reopen near Cannon Falls
Highways 19 and 20 are open, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported this morning.

Flood waters have subsided in Cannon Falls, making it possible to reopen Highway 20 over the Cannon River. The highway had been closed from Highway 19 to Goodhue County Road 86.
In addition, Highway 19 from Cannon Falls to Northfield is open.
The following area highways remain closed:
• Northbound Highway 52 near Pine Island (south of Pine Island is now open)
Detour: East on Goodhue County Road 11, north on
Wabasha County Road 1, west on Highway 60 and then back to Highway 52.
• Highway 60 west of Zumbro Falls
Detour: Use local roads
• Highway 63 in Wabasha County
Detour: Highway 61 to Highway 42 to Highway 247 and then back to Highway 63.
MnDOT advises motorists to continue using caution in southeastern Minnesota due to flooding. Several highways have water over the road and some are closed at this time. Many highways are also opening up as flood waters subside.
