Game recap: Pepin-Alma rolled over Cornell on Friday in what P-A coach Mike Olson dubbed the "mud bowl." The Eagles offense started slow and didn't score in the first quarter but exploded for 22 second-quarter points on the road.
Difference maker: P-A managed to handle the muddy conditions and didn't have a turnover while Cornell fumbled six times - losing four of them - and threw one interception.
Top players: Olson said that after Danny Kujak scored on a 69-yard pass from Jacob Lerum in the second quarter, the offense started to play better. Kujak caught two balls for 86 yards. Ryan Erickson had a huge game on the ground for Pepin-Alma; he carried the ball 23 times for 132 yards and one score. Lerum scored twice on running plays from the 1-yard line.
