Chloe Struss of Red Wing took home first place in the 7-and-under girls division at the Minnesota Elks State Soccer Shoot.
Her stellar performance on Aug. 28 also earned her a tie for the top shooter award in the 8-and-under boys and girls combined division.
Aiden Coyle, also from Red Wing, participated in the event at the Elks Youth Camp near Nisswa, Minn., along with 32 kids from across the state. He took third in the 7-and-under boys division.
Both Struss and Coyle advanced to state shoot by winning their local and district events earlier in the summer.
