Family gathering celebrates equinox
Families are invited to come to Villa Maria Retreat Center, Frontenac, for “The Autumnal Equinox: Ritual Prayer and Potluck Celebration” from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 18.
Families are invited to come to Villa Maria Retreat Center, Frontenac, for “The Autumnal Equinox: Ritual Prayer and Potluck Celebration” from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 18.
“Reconnect with the energy of the divine as it manifests itself in the changing of the seasons,” said Sister Margaret Galiardi, director of spiritual services. There will be games for children and conversation for adults. A bonfire and s’mores will end the evening.
