Authorities responded to two crashes between Friday and Sunday on Highway 52 in Goodhue County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported the first crash ocurred at 6:57 a.m. Friday on Highway 52 and Maple Way in Leon Township when a motorcycle driven by 66-year-old John Hawk drifted off the roadway, crashed and rolled over him. Hawk, of Rochester, was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was wearing a helmet.
The second crash occurred at 11:14 a.m. Sunday at Highway 52 at mile post 99, where two vehicles were both traveling in the northbound lane. Troopers said the driver of a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina attempted a left-hand turn from the right lane of traffic, clipping a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer in the left lane. The Trailblazer ran off the road and rolled.
James George, 40, Zimmerman, Minn., driver of the Trailblazer, received minor injuries. His wife, Stacy George, 31, and their 2-year-old son Waylon George, also received minor injuries. All three were taken to Cannon Falls Area Hospital.
The driver of the Lumina, Dylan Bodette, 18, Dennison, was not injured, troopers said. His passenger, Jordan Blakeslee, 18, received no apparent injuries, according to the State Patrol.
