Prairie Island drill unmasked

Today’s exercise at Prairie Island nuclear plant may have occurred behind the scenes, but that doesn’t mean authorities weren’t willing to share a little information.

Follow the attached link to the R-E’s Eagle Eye blog, which describes what the scenario was. Also attached on this story are PDFs of news releases sent by city and state officials outlining the incident. They provide a unique look into what would likely be sent if a major emergency occurred.
