Swim on: Pool to stay open another week

The Colvill Aquatic Center will stay open a week longer than scheduled this year, thanks to a donation.
City officials said Monday that instead of closing Aug. 22, the pool will remain open until Aug. 29. Funding for the extended operation comes from a Red Wing Area Fund donation, according to a city press release.
