McNurlin comes out ahead in sheriff race
Goodhue County Chief Deputy Scott McNurlin and Sgt. Marty Kelly of the Red Wing Police Department remain in the running in their bids for Goodhue County sheriff.

Goodhue County Chief Deputy Scott McNurlin and Sgt. Marty Kelly of the Red Wing Police Department remain in the running in their bids for Goodhue County sheriff.
McNurlin came out ahead in the race with 57 percent of the vote. He tallied 3959 votes.
Kelly garnered 35 percent of the vote, with 2426 votes in total.
Hanson finished a distant third with seven percent of the vote, or 512 total votes.
