Morgan Bohmbach, the Red Wing 18U softball team pitcher, suffered the loss in both games Tuesday against Lewiston even though she totaled 14 strikeouts, two walks, six hits and one earned run.
The visitors from Lewiston scored four runs in the final inning to win the first game 5-1. It then scored six runs in the first inning of the second game and held on to win 6-4.
Red Wing had only two hits in the opener, including a double from Bohmbach that led to Red Wing's loan run. Ellie Anderson got the other hit for Red Wing.
Red Wing committed four errors in the first inning of Game 2 and finished the game with six errors.
Linzi Daley led Red Wing in hitting with a double and a single in the second game. Laura Berktold doubled for Red Wing's other hit in the game.
Red Wing is now 3-14 on the year and next plays in a tournament in Rice Lake, Wis., today and Sunday.
