White 14U softball team competes at Zumbrota tournament

The Red Wing White 14U girls softball team narrowly missed out on a fifth-place finish at the Zumbrota tournament over the weekend.

Red Wing lost its third game in extra innings against Rosemount, falling 9-8.

Taylor Quandt led the team again with two strong pitching performances. Rayleigh Owen, Abby Rohan and Maria Furlong played strong defensively, while Ashley Balster, April Gernentz and Rohan led the team offensively.
