Sue Butler finished second to Chloe Forsman (Specialized D4W/Bicycle Haus) in the standings for the 2010 Nature Valley Grand Prix green jersey, which is awarded to the top amateur in the race.
The stage race concluded Sunday with a criterium in Stillwater, Minn., and Butler ended up 28th in the overall women's general classification. Butler, a Red Wing High School graduate, finished the five stages in 6 hours, 21 minutes, 53 seconds.
Butler's best performance occurred Saturday when she finished 26th in the 76-mile Menomonie, Wis., road race. By finishing in 3:19:58, Butler moved from fourth to second in the competition for the top amateur rider jersey.
In the team results, Butler's Nature Valley Pro Ride team took 12th out of 14 entrants.
Shelley Evans of team Peanut Butter & Co. TWENTY12 was the overall women's 2010 Nature Valley Grand Prix champion in 6:16:07.
