Southeast Tech official tapped for interim president job
A top Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical official was tapped Monday for an interim post at a state community college.
A top Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical official was tapped Monday for an interim post at a state community college.
MnSCU President James McCormick announced that Stephanie Stumpf, Southeast Tech's vice president of academic affairs, is his recommendation for interim president at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids. She replaces Patrick Johns, who was named president at Lake Superior College in Duluth.
According to a news release, Stumpf's experience includes serving as dean of business at Hennepin Technical College, business instructor at Century College and numerous positions at Dakota County Technical College.
MnSCU officials also announced that Shari L. Olson, system director in MnSCU's chancellor's office, was recommended to become interim president at Anoka Technical College.
"We are pleased to recommend these two individuals, both of whom have strong credentials for the interim presidencies of the colleges," McCormick said in the release.
The MnSCU Board of Trustees is expected to act on the recommendations today.
