A 16-year-old male was forced to jump out of his father's truck after the vehicle caught on fire as he was driving along Pioneer Road today around 8 p.m.

Hunter Boutelle, Red Wing, suffered some scrapes and bruises but otherwise was alright.

The truck, a late 1980s Ford F-150, plowed through a fence into the property of Pete and Pat Valtakis, 1909 Pioneer Road, where it crashed into a tree.

Red Wing Fire Department was able to put out the fire that engulfed the truck.
