Game recap: Zach Watkins of Plum City broke up a pitchers' duel Saturday at Bay City with an RBI single in the third inning. Chase Nelson walked and stole second before Watkins singled.
Difference maker: Plum City's Tony Garner threw a complete-game gem. He gave up four hits, walked three and struck out 12. Plum City right fielder Matt Sperger said Garner's performance was, "dominant, per usual."
Top players: Watkins and Cory Breidung each had two hits for the Blues. Jordan Eggenberger and Cole Kuesel combined to give up six hits and six walks while striking out nine for Bay City. Shane Strain had two hits for the Bombers.
