The Red Wing Port Authority on Tuesday agreed to the terms of a land sale for the former Central Research Laboratories building and roughly five adjacent acres at Highways 61 and 19 to the current tenant, Osemi, for $250,000.
The sale is not finalized, however. The parties still need to work out the financial end of the deal, according to port officials.
Osemi, a manufacturer of semiconductors and other high-tech equipment, has been in the building since 2007. Osemi currently employs 10 full-time workers, four part-time workers and three international workers.
The company has sites in Red Wing, Canada and China.
