Adapted bowling: Tigers finish third at invite

The Lake City team of freshman Brian Carlson, sophomore Tyler Kimber, junior Amber Schones and sophomore Megan Keller finished third as a team in the Alexandria Invitational’s cognitively impaired division. The invitational is considered a state tournament preview.
The Tigers finished with a score of 1,614. Alexandria won with a score of 1,661 and Mankato East (1,626) took second.
In the girls singles competition, Schones picked up another third-place finish. She bowled a 405 while Fergus Falls’ Chelsea Carlson won with a 438. Keller took eighth with a 388.
Carlson (412) and Kimber (409) finished eighth and ninth, respectively.
