Diamond Bluff crash victim treated and released
Pierce County sheriff’s deputies were investigating a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash Wednesday that left a Hastings man injured.
Pierce County sheriff’s deputies were investigating a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash Wednesday that left a Hastings man injured.
According to a press release, officers were called at 1:25 p.m. to Highway 35 in Diamond Bluff Township, where a pickup truck driven by Joseph Plummer, 48, Ellsworth, had collided with a pedestrian, identified as Wesley Crisp, 27.
Crisp had been walking westbound on the highway’s northern edge, according to the press release. The pickup, which was pulling an empty snowmobile trailer, entered a ditch after the crash.
Crisp received non life-threatening injuries and was transported by Red Wing ambulance to the Regina Medical Center, where he was treated and released. Plummer was not injured.
