Red Wing senior Rose Alleva recalled attending one girls hockey practice this season. She thought it was a U8 or a U10 team. She received a hero's welcome.
"This one girl just like clung onto me and I was like, 'Hi,'" Alleva said with a laugh. "She literally just hung onto me for like seven seconds."
