Council tables land purchase

Red Wing City Council tabled a proposal Monday to buy land on Mt. Carmel Road where officials had planned to dispose of treated sewage sludge.

Red Wing City Council tabled a proposal Monday to buy land on Mt. Carmel Road where officials had planned to dispose of treated sewage sludge.

A number of residents asked the council to at least hold off on what they said was a hurried plan.
