Holiday art show is on display at Fairview

“A Season of Joy” is theme for the seasonal gallery show that opens this weekend in the cafeteria area at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center.
The exhibit will remain on display through Jan. 12.
The show is provided and staged by artists of the Red Wing Arts Association. They include:
• Lori Horsic — Photograph of Bay Point Park titled “Stillness of Winter.”
• Chap Achen — Three black-and-white photographs of winter scenes.
• Terry Olson — “Amaryllis,” a print, and two original watercolor pieces: a winter abstract and an evergreen bush.
• Bob Lewis — Large oil painting titled “Snow Over Lake Pepin.”
• Betsy Bowen — “A is for Antler,” a print from her Alphabet series.
• Ted Horn — Photograph of a local winter scene, “Shadows on the Trimbelle.”
• Arlo Jensen — Watercolor painting, “Winter Barn.”
• Larry Veeder — Abstract acrylic painting, “Ice Flow.”
• Dan Wiemer — Mixed media abstract, “Winter Fantasy.”
• Sarah Singer — Acrylic painting of penguins, “Cold Place Warm Company.”
The public is invited to visit the gallery at any time.
