Game recap: P-A jumped all over Independence early in this game by drawing fouls on drives to the basket. Independence scored just two points in the first quarter and had only six points at the half.
Difference maker: Rebounding and solid defense helped P-A cruise to victory.
"We are very strong on the boards when we put our minds to it," P-A coach Loren Mueller said. "We have several good rebounders."
Top players: Travis Heit dropped 17 points, leading the Eagles. Nathan Stein was right behind Heit with 14 points. Trevor Fink added six points and eight rebounds.
