Game recap: The Eagles pulled out to a 23-6 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back. Plum City didn't score more than seven points in any quarter.

Difference maker: Plum City struggled with the aggressive play of P-A and turned the ball over frequently. The Blue Devils, as a result had limited scoring chances.

Top players: Sophomore Tasha Heit and junior Ali Ritscher both had 13 to lead the Eagles. Molly Freund led Plum City with five points with Niky Dierks, Morgan Sweeney and Heather Van Holtum all scoring four.

Coach's quote: "I know we have way more potential than what we showed tonight; hopefully this game opens our eyes to the fact that we need to work very hard to reach that potential," Plum City's Jason Glampe said.

Next up: Spring Valley at Plum City (0-1), 7:30 p.m. Tuesday; Gilmanton vs. P-A (2-0) in Alma, 7:30 p.m. Friday.
