Holiday Train
The CP Rail Holiday Train makes two stops in the area on Dec. 11. From approximately 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., it’s scheduled to stop in Wabasha at the Gambia Avenue crossing near Bruegger Park.
From 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the train should be at Hearth & Home Technologies, 800 W. Jefferson St., Lake City.
The train brings with it live entertainment and Santa. Everyone is asked to bring a cash or nonperishable food donation, which will go to local food shelves.

Holiday matinee

The matinee features will be “Varmints” by Marc Craste and Sue Goffe, a short animated fable; and “Christmas Story,” a Christmas film from Finland that reveals Santa’s childhood and tells how he came to be Santa.
