Man found dead on Wabasha-area farm

Authorities found an unconscious man Friday morning stuck 35 feet in the air on a silo ladder at a farm near Wabasha. The 49-year-old man was later pronounced dead at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Wabasha, according to Wabasha County authorities.

The 49-year-old man was later pronounced dead at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Wabasha, according to Wabasha County authorities.

The man's identity has not yet been released but authorities said he was an employee at Drysdale farms, where the incident occurred.

Authorities received a call about 10:12 a.m. They arrived on the scene and found the man, who was stuck on a ladder with a safety cage.

Authorities said man apparently died from an unknown medical issue but that the case is still under investigation.
