Harvest Some History, an interactive program for families, will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Goodhue County History Center, 1166 Oak St.

Traditionally, the harvest has been a pivotal time of year, as people got together to bring in the crops and planned for the cold and bareness of the oncoming winter, Director Char Henn pointed out. She invited the public to “Spend some time at the history center having fun and learning about the harvest.”

Joseph B. Campbell will tell Native American stories. Children can have their faces painted by Bozie the Clown, make cornhusk dolls, decorate gourds, and participate in a scavenger hunt. Food will be available for a small fee.

No admission will be charged. For more information, call Henn at (651) 388-6024 or email at chargchs@qwestoffice.net.
