Soaring high: Breast Cancer Awareness Month ends today, but Red Wing’s Pay It Forward carries the banner year-round. The fund, which helps cancer victims address aspects of life they’ve had to neglect while battling their disease, got some needed help from numerous local businesses in October.

Victims received free services. Consumers knew that proceeds from purchases went to help victims. Owners and employees, many wearing special shirts and ribbons, enjoyed knowing they were making a difference.

Red Wing, you look pretty in pink.

Rough landing: Do the tales of misdeeds, mischief and money haunt you, too?

Watching city government has been no treat the past few weeks.

City Council members and Port Authority commissioners, stop letting the past haunt you. We think you’ll find that listening to one another and to constituents with respect and an open ear may just do the trick.
