Tara Doherty and Jason Hasenberg were married Oct. 5, 2009, in Lihue, Hawaii, with the Rev. William M. Shannon officiating.

She is the daughter of Patricia and William Doherty of Kapaa, Hawaii. He is the son of Jerry and Bonnie Hasenberg of Hager City.

Maid of honor was Lauren Levy of New York.

Best man was Chris Hasenberg of Chippewa Falls, Wis., brother of the groom.

She graduated from St. Rose High School in Belmar, N.J., and Drexel University in Philadelphia. She works as vacation service coordinator at Westin Princeville Ocean Resort, Princeville, Kauai.

He graduated from Ellsworth High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie. He works as director of engineering at the Sheraton on Kauai.

They live in Kapaa, Hawaii.
