Bus service available six days a week

Hiawathaland Transit provides public transportation that includes two fixed routes and curb-to-curb service within the city limits of Red Wing and several nearby outlying communities.
Stops in Red Wing include:
- Red Wing Public Library
- Pottery Place
- Red Wing Mall
- Fairview Red Wing Medical Center
- Senior Center, Jordan Towers, Pepin Woods Mobile and Maple Hills.
Riders also may be picked up at five bus shelters.
For curb-to-curb service, which is known as DIAL-A-RIDE, call Hiawathaland Transit two hours in advance for service that day. People also should call one day in advance for standing reservations, rides requiring the bus lift, or specific time appointments.
Service hours are 6 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Dial-A-Ride also operates from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
