Ritter honored

Former Red Wing golfer Kathleen Ritter was named women’s golfer of the week for the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Ritter, a junior at Minnesota State University, Mankato, earned medalist honors with rounds of 80 and 75 at the Mustang Invitational Saturday and Sunday in Marshall, Minn.

Ritter leads the Mavericks after three events with a 78.8 stroke average.
