Hockey capitol in Red Wing?

Red Wing is one of 32 Minnesota cities vying to become Minnesota’s hockey capitol.

Fans will select the winner in the contest — sponsored by the Minnesota Wild — which will be decided over a series of head-to-head matchups. Red Wing faces Eveleth, home of the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, in the first round.

Fans can vote at www.wild.com. The winner will be announced April 10, 2010.
