Amateur baseball: Cannon Falls eliminated at state

Taylor Pagel's RBI single in the top of the eighth inning tied the score at 3. Jake Winchell scored an unearned run in the fifth inning and Brandon Underdahl drove in the other run with a single in the top of the first.
Underdahl, Rich Burr and Cory Hedeen all finished 2-for-4. Burr scored a run and his pinch runner, Chris Nobach, did as well.
Robert Burr started and lasted five innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on nine hits. He struck out three and walked one.
Klein suffered the loss, allowing the two runs in three innings of work. He walked one and surrendered four hits.
Cannon Falls finished the year 26-18.
