MEDORA, N.D. (AP) — A Lake City man was killed in a crash in southwestern North Dakota involving two vehicles towing things.

The Highway Patrol said 60-year-old Jerry Roper was driving a sport utility vehicle towing a camper trailer, which collided with a trailer house being towed by a truck.
The two were traveling side by side on Interstate 94 west of Medora on Tuesday afternoon.
The patrol said Roper's SUV overturned in the ditch, and he died at the scene. A passenger, 61-year-old Celeste Roper, was taken to a Dickinson hospital.
The driver of the truck, 62-year-old Kenneth Roemke of Goshen, Ind., was not injured.
