Lydia Ann "Lyd" Lien, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, August 26, in her home surrounded by her family.

Lydia Ann "Lyd" Lien, 89, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, August 26, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 23, 1920, to Rudy and Lydia (Mann) Lother. She attended Lindgren Elementary School and graduated from Ellsworth High School. She worked for the S.B. Foot Tanning Company for 18 years and was the owner of Lyd's Bar in Hager City.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Deedra Vokes) Lien of Hager City; a brother, George (Lois Kask) Lother of Diamond Bluff; granddaughter, Lindsay Lien; nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Reus officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the Leo C. Peterson American Legion. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday. www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
