Fire destroyed a rural Zumbrota camper Saturday.
The camper, owned by Gregory Haugen, was parked on County Road 55 in Pine Island Township when it caught fire. Deputies were called at about 11 a.m. to find the camper totally engulfed in flames. The fire, extinguished by Zumbrota firefighters, also ignited a nearby tree. The loss was estimated at $7,000.
