Amanda Lee Ries Balster and Scott Nickolas Johnson of Red Wing announce their engagement.
She is the daughter of Jeff Balster and Melody and Sam Schammel, all of Red Wing. He is the son of Johnny and Terrie Johnson of Red Wing.
A 2004 graduate of Red Wing High School, she is a student in the registered nurse program at Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical. She works at St. Brigid’s at Hi-Park.
He graduated in 2003 from Red Wing High School and is a member of the Prairie Island Indian Community.
An August wedding is planned in Christ Episcopal Church.
