Steve Boldt’s one-out base hit off the second baseman’s glove scored Hastings’ David Vogelsgegang from second base and lifted the Classic Cannon Valley League All-Stars to a 10-9 victory over the Cannon Valley League All-Stars in 10 innings Wednesday.

Boldt, who plays for Red Wing, finished 2-for-5. Miesville’s Erik Olson picked up the win. He pitched 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief at the Red Wing Athletic Field.

Two Cannon Falls players also had a big night: Matt Klein was 1-for-3 with a two-run double down the left-field line in the second inning and Brandon Underdahl was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

It’s the first time the CCVL All-Stars have defeated the CVL All-Stars in the four years that the two leagues have played.
