Q. Is it true that people can donate items to Red Wing School District for use in a specific classroom? I thought people might like to know this so they can help before school begins.
A. Yes. The district has a link on its Web site where people can match their donations to a classroom, school and even teacher. Each school posts a “wish list” that includes the name of the contact person or teacher. The list has big and small items.
The district Web site is www.redwing.k12.mn.us and the wish lists are under the “quick links” directly under the school calendar.
