To the Editor:
I am of a party of boaters started 50-plus years ago by my wife’s uncle Tom Netzer of Marshfield, Wis.
If we venture south, we launch in La Crosse, Wis.; If north, Trempealeau, Wis.
The past several years, we have been coming north because of the hospitality, generosity, and smiles of Jim and Cindy Biseks. This year we had four boats and 14 men, hailing from Marshfield, Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Fond Du Lac, Green Bay and Wausau, Wis.
We remind you of the ambassadors your beautiful city have in Jim and Cindy Bisek of the Red Wing Marina.
The thousand-plus transient boaters per year, not to mention the permanent “riff-raff” they put up with in the marina, make them a tremendous reflection of the hospitality offered by your beautiful city.
Please know what a wonderful attraction they make for people to stop, wander into downtown and drop a few “buckaroos.”
We have always been treated with open arms, tremendous hospitality and customer service that would knock the socks off of any Wal-Mart greeter.
So run down to the Red Wind Marina, shake Jim’s and Cindy’s hands and tell them what a great job they do in reflecting the personality of your beautiful city. They deserve it.
Frank Losinski
Wausau, Wis.
