Victim found dead of gunshot wound
ELLSWORTH TOWNSHIP — Pierce County Sheriff's Department responded at 10:15 a.m. May 15 to a report of an injured subject at a rural Town of Ellsworth residence.
ELLSWORTH TOWNSHIP — Pierce County Sheriff's Department responded at 10:15 a.m. May 15 to a report of an injured subject at a rural Town of Ellsworth residence. Authorities determined that the person died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Personnel from the county Medical Examiner's Office pronounced the subject dead at the scene.
The name of the subject was not released pending notification of family. Authorities said the circumstances were not considered suspicious. Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
