ROCHESTER — Two walks and an error in the second inning helped the Eagles score four runs. They plated four more in the fourth inning on two hits thanks to two more K-W errors.

The Knights made five errors and their pitchers walked just as many batters.

"After last week (when) we were competitive in every game it was disappointing to backslide," K-W coach Randy Hockinson said. "... We'll take it as a temporary setback and try and get focused for tomorrow night."

K-W (2-15 overall, 2-12 HVL) travels to Lake City today.

Cole Tousignant took the loss against Rochester Lourdes. The junior gave up eight runs (three earned) and four hits in four innings. He struck out four and walked five.

Knights senior Ryan Overby was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Freshman Oakley McLain drove him in with a base hit in the fourth inning.

The Knights managed six hits off senior Eric Bieniek. He struck out 10 batters, including five looking.

"We did not have very good at bats tonight," Hockinson said. "We were swinging at bad pitches early in the count."
