BLOOMING PRAIRIE, Minn. — When Brady Anfinson induced a grounder to third, it appeared the Knights would get out of the fourth inning ahead by a run, 4-3.

Instead, senior Ryan Overby made a throwing error on the play and the Awesome Blossoms proceeded to score two more runs that inning.

“It was the turning point of the game,” Knights coach Randy Hockinson said.

Anfinson, a sophomore, pitched his first complete game of the season. He struck out two and walked five while allowing eight hits and three earned runs.

“He really competes out there,” Hockinson said.

Senior Rocky Rapp hit the first pitch of the game over the right-center field fence. He finished 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Dylan Seifert, a junior, was 2-for-3 with a triple.

K-W (2-12 overall) is at Rochester Lourdes on Monday.
