To the Editor:
The R-E article on my decision to remain on the Red Wing School Board for a fifth year suggests that I am reluctant to “serve” on the board. That could not be further from the truth.
The only reluctance I feel concerns my continued discomfort with the notion of a public official extending his or her term of office. Other than that, I am passionate about my service on the board, and I will continue to serve on the board with the same energy and commitment that I have demonstrated since being elected in 2005.
