Tennis leagues
Separate men’s and women’s singles tennis leagues are being organized. Play begins the week of June 9 and includes one match per week throughout the summer. Games are scheduled Tuesday nights but matches can be played anytime at the consent of both players. Cost is $13. Sign up by May 26.
Winger softball clinic
Softball clinic for girls in grades 2-7 will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Red Wing High School softball field. Participants will be guests at the 11 a.m. Wingers vs. Byron softball game. Cost is $18.
Bluff hikes
Five bluff hikes are planned for 6:30 p.m. Thursdays in May and June. Share information about the city’s history and natural environment while enjoying great views. Gets your heart pumping by walking up some steep grades.
There is no cost. Children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. No pets, please.
Schedule is as follows: May 14 - Barn Bluff; May 21 - Memorial Bluff; May 28 - College Hill; June 11 - Oakwood Cemetery and June 18 - Billings/ Humored Conservation Area.
Pool exercise
Colvill Pool will feature morning classes. Aquatic exercise will be 9 to 10 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays June 8-Aug. 14. Cost is $60. Water walking will be 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting June 9. Cost is $50. Sign up for both classes and save $10.
Colvill lap swimming
Lap swim is offered 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning June 9 at Colvill Pool. Pool time is shared with the water walkers. Cost for 20 sessions is $50.
Diving camp
Carrie Hansen, Winger diving coach, will lead summer diving camps. Junior diving team for experienced divers will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays at Twin Bluff Middle School pool. Camp begins June 9. Cost for the 24-session camp is $275.
Beginner camp will be 11 a.m. to noon Wednesdays. Cost for the eight-session camp is $50. Divers should be able to swim 25 yards front crawl, 25 yards back crawl and tread water for 60 seconds.
