Benefits and Fundaisers

The Red Wing High School cheerleaders will hold a garage sale from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the high school cafeteria. Funds will be used for summer camp and squad expenses. There will also be snacks and beverages for sale. Sale will benefit Red Wing dog park Red Wing Dog Park Association will hold a fundraiser rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 731 and 734 Blaine St. in the Old Fairgrounds. Smokey Row bakery items will be available to early shoppers. All proceeds will go directly for fencing the dog park in Upper A.P. Anderson Park. Monetary donations can be sent to Red Wing Dog Park, Box 362, Red Wing, MN 55066.

Clubs join efforts in MS fundraiser

The Lone Riders 4x4 Club, along with Borderline 4x4 Trailseekers Club, will be holding two benefit garage sales Friday and Saturday as part of the annual 100-mile garage sale around Lake Pepin. The Lone Riders sale will be at 34255 Highway 61 in Frontenac, and The Borderline Club sale will be at the corner of Highway 35 and 747th Street in Hager City. Both clubs are nonprofit organizations. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Proceeds from the sales will go to support the Lone Riders Club’s third annual Multiple Sclerosis Fundraiser and carnival to be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 27 at Frontenac Farms in Frontenac. For more information about any of the events, go online to loneriders4x4.org. or borderlin4x4.org.

Join Hands

to help others

Modern Woodmen needs volunteers to assist with its local Join Hands Day project May 2. The local effort includes collecting supplies for troops and women’s shelters and then bagging the supplies. The project will begin at 1 p.m. at the Zumbrota Library.

Join Hands Day is a nationwide day of service sponsored by Modern Woodmen, a fraternal financial organization. For more information on the local project, contact Patsy Nesteby at (651) 388-1640.
