William "Bill" Wiech, 72, of Cottage Grove, Minn.

William "Bill" Wiech, 72, of Cottage Grove, Minn., passed away April 26, 2009. William was born Sept. 22, 1936, in Frontenac, Minn., the son of William and Annabelle Wiech. He was raised in Hager City and Red Wing and graduated from Central High School in 1954. On July 16, 1955, he was united in marriage with Hope Munson. Bill enjoyed flying, gardening and golfing.

He is the beloved husband of Hope; loving dad of Sherri, Tim (Heather),

David (Tammy); cherished grandfather (Poppy) of Erik (Jennifer), Kyle, Fawn,

Dylan; brother of Victor of Lake City, Donald (Vonnie) of Red Wing, and

Robert (Ruth) of Hager City; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service 2 p.m. Friday, May 1. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 7000

Hinton, Cottage Grove. Visitation will to noon to 2 p.m. at church. Arrangements are by Kok Funeral Home, (651) 459-2875.
