Jessica Klindworth, 17, Elgin, Minn., died April 11 in a motor vehicle crash in Olmsted County.

Funeral services for Jessica Klindworth will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin. The Rev. Terrill Branstedt will officiate. Burial will follow at the Elgin Cemetery. Miss Klindworth, 17, of Elgin, died Saturday April 11, 2009, as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Haverhill Township, Olmsted County.

Jessica Lynn Klindworth was born Sept, 30, 1991, in Rochester. She was a junior at Plainview Elgin Millville High School. She played softball, was a member of the Root River Rabbits 4-H Club, and the Book Club. She loved riding motorcycles and horses, and was soon to be a member of the Rochester Rough Riders. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she helped with Sunday school. She traveled with the church's mission group to Colorado and was currently working with the next mission project.

She is survived by her parents, Brian (Ann) Klindworth, and Pam (Wayne Walterman) Klindworth, all of Elgin; a sister, Jennifer Klindworth of Elgin; brotherS, Hunter Kennedy of Elgin, Tyler Walterman of Plainview, and Brady Walterman of Winona; maternal grandparents, Rose Dux of Lake City, and Leon (Lynn) Dux of Milaca, Minn.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.

Friends may call at Schad-Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview on Thursday from 5 to 8:00 p.m., and the visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. If so desired, memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choosing. Mahn Family Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
