Patty Jo Bautch, 60, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009.

Patty Jo Bautch, 60, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009. She was born Nov. 14, 1948, in White Bear Lake, Minn., to Robert and JoAnn (Franssen) Martin. She grew up in Clear Lake, Wis., graduating from Clear Lake High School in 1966. She married David Bautch Aug. 12, 1967, in Arcadia, Wis. After living there for a short time they moved to Lake City in 1968. She worked at the Jewel Nursery in Lake City, Riviera Cabinets in Red Wing, Zero King of Lake City as an inspector, Anderson House in Wabasha, Big Ben Restaurant in Red Wing, and at Federal Mogul in Lake City from 1997 as a machinist. She was an expert at "Chef Surprise." She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, David Bautch of Lake City; daughter, Donna (Brian Poeppel) Mae Bautch of Lake City; son, John (Missy) Bautch of Shakopee, Minn.; three grandchildren, Matthew, Aaron, and Elizabeth Bautch; sister, Charleen (David) Johnson of Clearlakel; brother, Rudy (Karen) Martin of Centuria, Wis.; daughter through friendship and love, Charlene (Robert) Selvig of Lake City. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and JoAnn Martin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Richard Dernick officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Martin, Brendan Getschmann, Tom Sauer, Todd Allen, Dennis Bautch, and Martin "Butch" Whetsel. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. today at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City and one hour prior to the service at the church.
