Marjorie Martinson, 84, of Crosby, Minn.

Marjorie May Martinson, 84, of Crosby, Minn., died Saturday March 28, 2009, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.

She was born Aug. 22, 1924, in Irondale Township to Gilbert and Ella (Marqwardt) Beebe. She married Harold S. Martinson on May 12, 1945, in Crosby.

She is survived by six daughters, Karen Ferrari of Aitkin, Minn., Gayle (Steve) Collins of Northfield, Minn., Judy (John) Humeniuk of Baudette, Minn., Susan (John) Hendrickson of Minot, N.D., Jyll (Bob) Bauer of Red Wing, and Lisa (Scott) Jensen of Cloquet, Minn.; one brother, Jay (Yvonne) Beebe of Nisswa, Minn.; one sister, Viola Bye of Brainerd, Minn.; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbandm Harold in 1976; one daughter, Sally Fitschen in 2006; three brothers, Fritz, Ray and Clifford Beebe; one sister, Ruth Bierman; and two granddaughters.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
